We're on a journey together at The Bridge, and there's a place for you in it! As part of FOR OUR CITIES, we're spending 21 days praying, growing in our faith, and asking God to lead us. This is about more than a generosity initiative. It's about becoming the kind of church that loves people the way Jesus loves us. Whether you're starting on day one or jumping in along the way, we'd love for you to join us!
Our 21-Day Prayer Journey focuses on three things that are close to our hearts: FOR OUR FAMILY, FOR OUR NEIGHBORS, and FOR THE NATIONS. Together, we're praying for our church family across Sugar Land, Richmond, and Fulshear, for the people and communities around us, and for the work God is doing around the world. Each day includes a Scripture passage, a short devotional, and a prayer to help you get started. Nothing complicated. Just a few minutes to spend with God and listen for what He might be saying.
Here are a few tips to help you along the way. Find a time that works for you, whether that's with your morning coffee, during lunch, or before bed. Keep your Prayer Journey guide somewhere you'll see it. Read the Scripture, think about what stands out, and spend a few minutes praying. You might even jot down a few thoughts or talk about the day's reading with your family or small group. And here's the good news: You don't have to start on day one! If you're joining us halfway through, just jump in with today's reading. There's no catching up required, and no pressure to get it perfect.
Our journey leads us to Response Sunday on November 15, when we'll come together across all three campuses to respond to how God is leading each of us. Until then, let's keep praying, listening, and asking God to give us His heart for our cities. Wherever you are in the journey, there's room for you to be part of it.
